Well, to say we're gutted after today would be a huge understatement and it definitely feels like three points dropped.
Edinburgh College probably had the majority of possession but in areas we were comfortable with while I felt we definitely had the better of the opportunities.
As we have come to expect, the lads gave 110% but as we know, when good opportunities arise, they need to be taken and ultimately that’s what’s cost us today.
With what we put into the match, even dropping two points would have been frustrating but to lose with virtually the last kick of the ball and in the scrappy fashion we did was absolutely gutting. But sometimes the luck just isn't on your side and if we play with that level of desire and commitment week in week out I’m confident we will pick up plenty of points.
After two heavy defeats just when we took over, there’s definite signs of improvement, and the lads know we’re close to winning these tight games. A little more clinical in the final third and we really won’t be too far away from causing teams above us some problems.
